Aubrey's Quilt

So my sister just had her second baby, a girl she named Aubrey. This is the quilt I made for her!
I made the pattern up myself in EQ. I wanted to use 2D zoo fabric on the front, but it just wasn't working out with the other fabrics I had, so I'm going to have to make another one with this color scheme because I just love it!

back fabric --Alexander Henry 2D zoo in Holly

To quilt this I used a pantograph called "wall flower" -- it was the first time in over 2 years that I have used a pantograph and the whole (2 hours) time I was quilting it I kept saying to myself...why don't I use pantographs all the time?! They are so dang easy and fast!

Love these flowers!

ahhh...

  2. OK, now that it's almost 3 years since the last comment (Call me Rumplestilskin), would you care to share the dimensions of those blocks and the widths of the strips used in the big squares? I think I could make this if I figured out a few of the specs. Lovely job you did there.
    Thanks from the Northwest,
